The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit, membership-driven organization comprised of 2,500 business enterprises, civic organizations, education institutions and individuals. The Chamber is as old as the Austin business community and as current as the newest start-up. Its mission is to provide leadership that will help create regional economic prosperity and success for its members in Central Texas.
The Clean Energy Incubator has been a leader in building clean-tech companies since its inception in 2001 when it was formed as a program of the Austin Technology Incubator, a division of The University of Texas at Austin, the IC2 Institute, and inspired by the National Renewable Energy Lab.
