While India, China, and Brazil invest hundreds of millions of dollars for the construction of biofuel plants, American bio-fuel marketers are struggling to increase awareness of biofuel, agree on standards, negotiate the sea of special interests and simply get product to the pump.
This month, the Austin Cleantech Forum will explore available technologies, evaluate the bioenergy supply chain, discuss government policy and understand the impact on Central Texas as the United Sates wades through fields of cellulose to increase energy independence.
